Scaffolding is valuable to all educators, especially Subject Area educators. Educators must ensure that every opportunity is afforded the opportunity to learn.
One of favorite strategies is prior knowledge. I often find that stundents know more about a topic than they realize. There's such a joy when the aha moment shows in their faces.
